Jamberry Journey… It has been two weeks since I joined Jamberry. So much has happened in such a short time that it truly feels as though it should be so much longer.
It has been fantastic to see and congratulate my friend and upline Nicky Dexter who is already the number one person in the company for recruiting – in two weeks! O love watching my friends accomplish and achieve and this is something that is well deserved.
Myself, I have been fortunate enough to have promoted twice. I have gone from Consultant to Advanced Consultant to Senior Consultant. Just a smidge away from another achievement and with hoping that by the end of the month to achieve another. To be honest it is all just very exciting!
I am genuinely so lucky, I am in business with friends and that is in my upline and my team. So it is even more special to be celebrating achievements when it is with people that are already very important to you. We also have so much support for each other. Our #TeamBossBerries is much more of a community based team. We have resources for all levels and styles and everyone is there supporting not just us leaders.
In just 2 weeks my Jamberry Journey has already helped to accomplish my reasons for joining… My “WHY” as it is termed. My “WHY” is pretty simple if not somewhat contradictory! Firstly and most importantly it is because I want to be with my children, witnessing their accomplishments being there through their trials and tribulations and helping them through them. Full time work (which let’s face it is more like Full + Part time these days) is just not conducive to that… I know I went back to work and had Nevaeh and Grace in Nursery full time. By the time we picked them up they would be asleep in the car within 5-10 minutes and out for the night. Many times we were desperately trying to wake them just so we know they had eaten dinner but if you have children then you will know that tired, emotional children do not eat anyway!
For us weekends would be eagerly looked forward too so we would have quality of time… For them weekends seemed to the catch up on nap times. Being with them before they are at the age of independence and look to others for answers and inspiration instead of you is precious indeed and that is “WHY”, why I want to work from home.
Second, and in slight contrast is that the more children we have added to our family the more of a need I have had to have adult conversation, to get out and be “me”, to have my identity back, moving away from the Mum duties and persona to the Traci one… The one that can drink a full hot drink before it has gone cold, that can hold a conversation that is more than 2 minutes without having to negotiate between who did what to whom, or to answer a question.
To fulfil the need to have a focus other than the children. I feel it is good for them too. For the short times I am not with them I miss them, they miss me, it helps keep the balance. Jamberry is providing that balance. If that was not enough it also provides something that is very dear to me… It gives me the chance to help inspire, motivate and mentor others that wish to do the same but do not know where to start or how to do it. It gives me the chance to help those that want to reach the top and need to sharpen their skill set. It gives me the chance to be part of a motivating, powerful team where we all have each others back in the learning zone.
Achieving your goals is amazing and such a fantastic feeling… Helping others to achieve their goals is even more rewarding and when you have a good sized team that just gets bigger… Well that means more opportunites to celebrate – how awesome is that! And you know what? I want you to be one of them… You to be celebrating with us… feeling the amazing feelings we have been experiencing. I want you to be looking back after two weeks feeling grateful that this opportunity came across your path. Looking back in two months time amazed at how far you have already come. Looking back in 2 years time feeling so blessed that you made the decision because it has given you what you were looking for and is still giving you more.
